I guess Robert Frost didn’t have self-improvement advice in mind when he wrote his famous poem “The Road Not Taken”. It makes for a fantastic tip, though, so I’ll borrow the last verse to explain how changing your ways can improve your life.
Everyone is afraid of taking certain actions.
We are afraid of rejection, afraid of the outcome, afraid of getting hurt. All our life we are afraid. I know that nothing I write here can free you from the anxiety. But I can give you a new perspective which might motivate some of you to take action despite feeling fear. I’ll do it with an analogy.
Whenever I feel negative emotions like anger, depression or entitlement I immediately go ahead and play one of the videos in this post. Inspirational videos won’t bring you success in life – only you can do that. But they are great for giving you a lift up when you are down or get you to exceed what you thought possible when you are up. Bookmark the videos and play them whenever you need a little push.
